Danielle
has been singing all her life. When she was four, she joined the Rancho Bernardo Childrens' Chorus. This year, representing
California, she won the North American Country Music Association International’s 2003 Female Vocalist of the Year in
the Contemporary Country category held in Tennessee. The year before, she won the California Country Music Association’s
Female Soloist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year for her age group (nine to 12).
She participated
in the International Talent Search sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of America and was one of only three vocalists
to perform at the Boys & Girls Club’s International Conference in Orlando. Danielle has sung the national
anthem for the San Diego Padres, San Diego Gulls, Lake Elsinore Storm and other professional ball clubs. Danielle also
performs in and around Southern California at a variety of conventions, fundraisers, street fairs and private parties.
The young
singer’s favorite contemporary country stars are LeAnn Rimes and Martina McBride, but she has already decided she will
“make history.” She said: “I’m going to try to be the ‘big one.’ I don’t want to
be Martina McBride. I want to be my own person. I want to be Danielle Kammann.”
Danielle
comes from a musical family, but her interests are not only music. The energetic young lady who plays guitar, as well as violin,
cello ,and piano, also enjoys horseback riding and lacrosse.
She already
is thinking about going to college, but she is not sure if she wants to go to a music school or to UC Davis to study veterinarian
medicine— “Perhaps I'll be a singing vet!".
